OOPS the FVTC Dental Hygiene Students did it again!

Dr Ellen Fischer, Sharri Crowe and many dental hygiene students participated in the Healthy Athletes Special Smiles Initiative at the Special Olympics Indoor Sports Tournament on April 4th.

The athletes were screened for cavities and gum disease.  They  were provided mouth guards and patient education to improve their oral and systemic health.

Everyone who volunteered got a warm fuzzy feeling inside for helping out and intend on participating in future events.
