I graduated in May of 2011 from the dental hygiene program at Western Technical College in La Crosse. As a new graduate, I am excited to start my career in the dental world! I currently work at Kwik Trip Inc. but I cannot wait to explore my opportunities as a dental hygienist. I am glad that I can be a part of the WDHA and be co-chair trustee. This is just another way I can grow as a hygienist. Aside from hygiene, I currently live in La Crosse with my boyfriend and enjoy spending time with family. I have a growing family with two sisters and one brother all under the age of three! Any free time that I have is usually spent with them. I also enjoy giving my time to volunteer programs. I currently help out at the hunger task force in La Crosse by sorting non-perishable food items and helping with fundraisers. I always keep a positive attitude towards life and I'm excited for new things in my future.              Candace Anderson RDH

I graduated from Western Technical College in 2008 with an Associate's of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I plan to begin classes to earn my Bachelors’ Degree in Dental Hygiene in the fall of 2011. I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful profession. I currently work at Logistics Health, Inc. in LaCrosse. I live in LaCrosse with my husband, Keith and our two sweet daughters; Emma, 7 and Sophie, 1. My hobbies include; camping and traveling. We spend much of the summer at our vacation property in northern Wisconsin. I serve as the Parent Activity Committee Advisor/ Grant Writer for the Board of Directors at Congregational Preschool in LaCrosse. I also continue to volunteer at local schools giving home care instruction to preschool/elementary school children. I am very dedicated to my family, friends, community and LDHA. I want to encourage all our members to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. I am here to serve!
